Settlements |
SkarsferryOn the north coast of Caledonia at the mouth of the River Broom, Skarsferry takes it's name from the ferry which carries goods between the mainland of Caledonia and the isles of Orkneyjar. A somewhat sprawling and untidy port it is heavily defended against attacks from the sea, but has little in the way of land based defence. It is currently home to the Clan MacBeth. Medium City |
||
BucholieA rather inhospitable town nestled between the Grampian Mountains and Cnoc an Laith-Bhead, it is a place one generally visits out of necessity rather than choice. It is fairly well defended, and is generally used as a bolthole by people when there is trouble in the area. Large Town |

Dun RobinDun Robin is very much a border outpost on the edge of Cnoc an Laith-Bhaid. Although not a major or very busy city, it has great strategic importance, acting as a buffer between the hostile lands to the north and the more civilised lands further south. Small City |

WrathnessA relatively heavily fortified city on the north coast, Wrathness is a military town with very little in the way of a port despite it's coastal location. There are virtually no harbour facilities, and the only boats belong to a few local fishermen. Small City |

AssyntAssynt is the only notable settlement in a rather barren area. It has little in the way of defences, other than a few ancient earthworks, as it simply isn't worth attacking. Large Town

Grampian MountainsOnly recently discovered in the hills near Bucholie lies a small derelict circle. How long it has been there for, or when it was active no one seems to know, the only indication that the site is not normal is a small patch of rocky grass amongst the heather, Subsidiary Derelict Circle (4)
