Lying along the Cymryjan border the center of Gall Ghaidheal is covered by the Great Forest. Other than that, the land is best described as mixed.

Cudbright

Cudbright has been a heavily fortified city for as long as anyone can remember, It is the main fortified city close to the Cymrijan border, and has also faced many attacks from the Great Forest. A walled city with a heavily fortified city attached, it is currently occupied by the McYokels. During recent attacks by the Formorians the wall was breached, but the city did not fall, although many areas were badly damaged by fire and fighting.

Finian is a fort and town close to the Cymrijan border.

Girvan seems to be a centre of trade, little actually travels to Girvan and remains there, but much seems to pass through.

On the Cymrijan border, Stranraer is a busy port conducting most of it's business with Erin, and the ports down the Cymrijan coast.,

Ruttiwell is a fortified town to the west of Iutharn Mhor and Beinn Dearg, which guards the western end of Glen Orchy.

The Great Forest

Covering much of western Caledonia, the Great Forest is a dark and foreboding place. Details of the outer edges are fairly well known, but the great interior is very much a mystery with entry or egress proving virtually impossible.

10. Circle of Homecoming

Location: Halfway between Cudbright and Ruttiwell, Southern Caledonia

Lay of the Land: Close to the edge of the Great Forest, the area around is lightly wooded.

Description: The circle is more like an ancient temple, partially roofed with massive stone slabs. It has various side 'rooms' leading off from the main circle, one of which is used as the Guardhouse.

15. Loch Doon Circle

Location: Near town of Finian, South Western Caledonia

Lay of the Land: The land is wooded and gently hilly.

Description: A clearing in the woods, marked by a well at one end. No guardhouse.
